On June 8th, 2017, the Kubota dealership's rental customer discovered that the machine had been stolen from their yard in Provost, Quebec. This customer reported it to the Kubota dealership they rented it from. The dealership knew that they had installed a Cellutrak anti-theft and real-time tracking device in this particular machine. They immediately located the machine and remotely disabled the engine, a feature unique to Cellutrak. This same Kubota representative contacted the Sûreté du Québec to report the theft and provide the real-time location. The police went to the location and recuperated the machine.
